Solution:

_____________________________________________________________

Given:

To Factorize :

 \frac{2y^3}{72y} -  \frac{2^3}{256}

____________________________________________________________

Factorization:

 \frac{2y^3}{72y} -  \frac{2^3}{256}

= \frac{y^2}{36} -  \frac{8}{256}

= \frac{y^2}{36} -  \frac{1}{32}

=(\frac{y}{6} )^2 -  (\frac{1}{4 \sqrt{2} }) ^2

we know that

a² - b² = (a + b)(a - b)

(\frac{y}{6} )^2 -  (\frac{1}{4 \sqrt{2} }) ^2

= ( \frac{y}{6} + \frac{1}{4 \sqrt{2} } )( \frac{y}{6} - \frac{1}{4 \sqrt{2}} )

____________________________________________________________
