Yes English should indeed be made an optional language. It is right that we should know English but it should not be important to choose it as a subject since most of the English is taught to us in the junior classes. The hard English that we study in our upper classes is mostly useful to writer.It is also necessary to do international jobs or business.Hence,it should be a mandatory subject.
