Abu Ben Adham by Leigh Hunt carries a strong message for the reader and inspires them to love their fellow beings as that is the best way to receive the love of God. The angel has Abu Ben Adhem's names among the ones whom the love of God has blessed, though his name was not in the list of those who love God. The p/roint here is that if we love our fellow beings, tat can win the favor of God because love for other human beings is the highest form of worship. 

The poet wishes that there are more people who are like Abu Ben Adhem (his tribe). It is truly said that service to our fellow men is the true service of God.
