Dear Diary
I went to Purana Gaon which is a very remote village. Modern facilities have not reached there yet. It is very far away from the city. There is no proper road, we have to travel by bullock cart or tonga. I stayed there for three days. As there was no electricity I spent most of my time outside the hut. I enjoyed the fresh air and worked in the field with my uncle during the day. I did not feel the need for television as there was enough entertainment outside. The people there were very friendly and spent the evenings together. They sang, danced and told stories. As there was no tap we had to go and fetch water from the nearby lake. We washed our clothes and had bath there. Besides this, there was a well. We got drinking water from there. We ate everything fresh as there was no fridge. If we wanted to give a message to anyone we had to go to their hut and tell them as there was no phone. Otherwise we would send an errand boy to go and convey the message.
My stay there was very enjoyable. It was so quiet and peaceful there. People lived together and shared each others joys and sorrows. I made a lot of friends there. I plan to go there again.
