Dear diary,
I have experienced many things in life. And I have felt many feelings too. But the feeling that engulfs your mind after you succeed in doing something is the best. And today, I felt it. You are going to ask me why. Well, it's a long story to be honest. But I am going to write it down here. So here you go.
Today, after I woke up, I felt something different. Premonition. Well, I thought that maybe Miss Rodgers will take a surprise pop quiz again. So, I got ready and went of to school. Well, Miss Rodgers didn't take any surprise tests. School was a real drag, as usual, so after I came back, I felt as if I had escaped from peril. Well, after lunch, mom went to take an afternoon nap. My father was at work and I was busy fooling around. Well, I decided to stop taking the afternoon naps as they made my insomnia worse. Suddenly I heard a thud and a crash coming from granny's room. She was on a vacation at Texas with my aunt so that room was supposed to be empty. Slowly, I made my way to the room and what I saw there shocked me. A theif had entered the room and had opened granny's closet. I quickly grabbed my mom's trusted bamboo stick that helped her to get rid of spiders and geckos and banged it on Mr. Theif's head. The poor chap was a short and skinny one, so he fell down. But he didn't lose consciousness. He tried to tackle me but I knew better. Another hit on his head with the stick knocked him out.
All this commotion woke up my mom. She was horrified by what she saw and she quickly dialed 911. My dad came next in her list. Later, that evening, my parents treated me to a huge chocolate brownie sundae. I guess this falls in the category of good deeds. Maybe I will get removed from Santa's naughty list but there is Thanksgiving and I seriously cannot stand my family members.
Yours,
Ava
