Answer:
Gender inequality has been a deep-rooted issue that exists in all the corners of the world, and mainly in some parts of India, it is quite dominant.
It is considered natural by some people as the patriarchal norms have been imbibed in the minds of the people from a very early stage. Individuals are treated as second-class citizens just based on their gender, and it is strange to see that no one even bats an eye
The ill-treatment of the girls, lesser pay for women in the service sector, women restrained to do household works, girls not allowed to go to school, or pursue higher education are some examples of gender inequality being a curse to the society.
Middle Eastern countries rank the lowest in the Global Gender Gap Index because of the existence of gender discrimination. To make the situations better, we must put an end to female foeticide and other inhumane activities like child marriage and treating women as an object.
The government must prioritize bringing gender inequality to an end as it is harmful to society. It is stopping the countries from flourishing and being successful. We must understand that there is no grace in underestimating a woman’s capabilities based on her gender.
