Answer
There are two ways to interpret there are two ways to interpret this question. A robbery with a deadly weapon versus robbery with a pen in your pocket pretending to be a deadly weapon, B robbery with a deadly weapon versus robbery with a pen as a weapon. Either way in most jurisdictions they would both fall under the category of armed robbery. If I stab you in the neck with a big fat pan it's going to make the same sort of hole as a bullet less the huge exit wound. If you are faking having a deadly weapon you are not only putting your own life at risk but those around you who are not involved. If somebody believes that you do in fact have a deadly weapon and that you are in fact robbing somebody and they decide to pull their own weapon and respond with deadly force there's always a chance that a bystander could be hit and killed or injured hence it's all the same armed robbery is armed robbery
