Their choice of career is also made popular because they are remarkably doing well in that field. Many children are hugely inspired by these celebrities and opt for a profession in the same field as theirs. Sportsperson like MS Dhoni and Abhinav Bindra has been conferred the rank of honorary lieutenant colonel in Indian Army for their huge contribution in Indian Sports. Aren’t they the real pride of our country? Don’t they deserve to become our role models?
Celebrities actively participate in environmental safety projects. Most popular celebrities are working towards environment through cleanliness projects, animal
Safety like Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan , PETA etc.trying to create awareness among the citizens of the country for a better future. This is also a valid reason to look up to them as our role models.
This brings me to my next point. Almost every celebrity faces hardships in their path of success but they courageously face all these shortcomings and continue to work in their field with determination. Youngsters can learn this never give up attitude from celebrities and implement the same for t heir studies or any other areas for positive results..

Dear friends, first of all I would like to quote a few lines from The Hindustan Times as published on August 2018. Due to rains and floods deaths in Kerala increased to 370. Shah Rukh’s Meer Foundation has donated Rs 21 lakh to a relief group working amongst flood victims.
Jacqueline Fernandez committed to donate Rs 5 lakh to NGO Habitat for Humanity India’s Kerala Flood Relief Programme. She said in a statement: “I am deeply pained to see the devastation caused by the floods in Kerala. My heart goes out to the people in need and in order to help them, I have decided to donate to Habitat for Humanity India.
“The devastation caused by incessant rain in Kerala is frightening. Hundreds and thousands of our sisters and brothers are in deep anguish! We must do all we can to contribute as much as we can towards the needs of the people of Kerala. I have. You must too,” Amitabh Bacchan tweeted.
Now aren’t these acts of kindness by celebrities enough to prove their humanitarian side and inspire us to be like them. I leave it up to you to think.
Good morning honourable members of jury, respected teachers worthy opponents and dear friends. I [name] stand in front of you to speak against the motion --- Celebrities are not good role models for students.
My next point.- Celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Malala Yousafzai and many such celebrities have inspired all of us towards education. These celebrities despite facing some or other challenges never backed down from their education. Their work in the field of education is widely recognised and honoured. The best example is Malala Yousafzai, who was attacked for going to school and despite danger for her life she continued her education and she is a UN messenger of peace, the youngest Nobel Prize winner and an activist for child education. So the question is what do these activities teach us? To respect these celebrities for their contribution to the country or to hold back the thought that they cannot be our role models.
A celebrity is only made popular because they have a successful career.
Famous people also share their personal life on social media like travel, adventures, parties, events, and also they share various tips for fitness, dressing, public speaking and healthy lifestyles. Children can follow these tips to improve their standard of living. So it’s not always that they show us the wrong way.
Lastly, I would like to say that not all celebrities are bad. They are normal human beings just like us having both positive and negative sides. So it’s up to us which qualities should we imbibe and make them our true heroes.
Therefore I hope I am able to substantiate my views against the motion -Celebrities are not good role models for students. I thank you all for lending me your ears patiently.
