This question doesn't have a simple answer so let's break it down.

Having a job is must because only it can guarantee you Independence. So, no compromise on that.

However, being a good human being is a pre-requisite if you want to lead a purposefull life.It's only then that ur work would have a positive effect on the rest of the society and that is life all about.

Now, if you have to give up your principles for better job prospects, trust me it's not worth it. Your values are part of your identity and one should not loose them for any purpose. Be good and have faith, better employment opportunities are surely round the corner.
