Good morning everyone present; I am going to speak on ‘private cars should be banned in the congested commercial areas’, and I am going to speak in favor of it.

The city centers and markets have become very congested and crowded. At times there are jams that take hours to clear. These jams cause a huge loss to the national resources. Not only time is wasted, fuel worth millions of rupees also gets wasted. At times there are accidents also. One can’t imagine the amount of toxic air people have to breathe in while they are stuck in the jams.  

The best solution to this problem is to ban the entry of private cars into congested areas. This won’t only reduce traffic jams, but also solve other related problems mentioned above.
