Advent of technology means the end of books?

Digital technology has certainly had a deep effect on the traditional book publishing and transaction industries, but has it also given the book a new tenancy of life?

At one point it considered as if the rise of e-books at knock-down prices and e-readers at different websites threat to book publishers and sellers.

But contrary to expectations, the printed book is still persisting alongside its upstart e-book cousin, and technology is helping publishers and retailers reach new spectators and find new ways to tell stories.
