My friend and I were once rolling around laughing about something that was so funny, and I made the comment that it was too funny and we were having too much fun. Then it got me to thinking, is that possible? Is it possible to have too much fun, too much laughter? We came to the conclusion that too much of anything is a bad thing (ex: an older person having a heart attack from laughing too much), and left it at that.
I brought up the concept to a different friend, and he disagrees. He thinks too much happiness is not and could never be a bad thing.
What are your thoughts on this?
It gets interesting because generally you would think that too much is no good, for instance theres "too much" cream in your coffee, or "too many" people in one room.. does the same apply for happiness or other things? Is "too much" of everything a bad thing, or are there exceptions?
