Explanation:

For the sake of self defense There many reasons why martial arts should be taught in school. Martial Arts can range from Karate to Wushu to Grav Maga to Systema and so on. However, the expense and time dedication of various martial arts tends to reserve the practice only for socioeconomic elites & middle-class who have a surplus of both. In foreign counties that take pride in their history of martial arts (e.G. Japan & Judo, Thailand & Muay Thai) classes and competitive teams are offered in public schoos, making the practice accessible to all persons. Why not the United States? I find myself wondering what arguments there are against such a proposition and welcome any and all disagreement.

Martial Arts has many brain boosting benefits Do your research and you will find plenty of reasons to teach all children martial arts. Many years ago I knew a little boy, Probably 8 years old, Who was having a lot of behavioral problems. His parents were finally advised to get him into a martial arts program. The change in him was amazing. He became much more confident and in control of his emotions.

reason martial arts to be made mandatory in the schools

1. Self-Defense

The most obvious reason why you should learn martial arts is that it teaches you how to defend yourself. It is undeniable that there is violence in the world. It occurs unexpectedly and without regard for who the victim is. Violence can affect all of us. It is important to be prepared for such occurrences, and the crux of training is to learn fighting skills. Not only do you learn specific techniques, but you also develop toughness and stamina needed to endure a physical altercation.

2. Confidence

Because you can handle yourself physically, you begin to develop confidence in yourself and your capabilities. You walk taller with your head up; you're prepared, calm, and self-assured. You would be surprised at the change in your mental attitude after a decent sparring session at the dojo. You learn that you can endure, that you can apply real self-defense techniques, and that you are capable and strong.
