Figure of speech is something just like to beautify the piece of writing by adding some different phase of meanings and literary devices into it.

1. $\bf {Simile :-}$ It shows comparison between two things by use the words "as" and "like".

=> My heart is $\bf\underline{like}$ a blooming bud.



2. $\bf {Metaphor :-}$ It shows comparison between two unrelated things which are common in some of their qualities.

=> Its raining cats and dogs.

(It means that its raining heavily. But here two unlike words are used to show a specific characteristic.)


3. $\bf{Alliteration :-}$ It is used to create a rhythm and bring focus to a line or sentence. The first letters of the words in the sentence repeat.

(The letter "s" repeats in the above sentence.)
