Cricket is one of the most popular sports among all. And Sachin Tendulkar is among the best cricketers in the world. Popularly known as ‘Master Blaster’, he is my favourite sportsperson. Tendulkar started playing international cricket at a very young age. A personality with a short physique and curly hair with a soft voice bowled over the entire world with his cricketing skills. His batting style combined with an endearing smile has won him followers from around the globe. He is the only player to have scored one hundred international centuries. He received the Bharat Ratna (India's highest civilian award) in 2013. He announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on 16 November 2013. He is an inspiration to millions of young aspiring cricketers who dream of making it big on the cricket pitch. His journey has been one of determination, hard work and passion towards the sport.
