What is the scene before and during an important celebration in your community

During Chritmas, everything is cold, quiet but at the same time joyous and noisy. The ambience is happy, electric, magical. There’s a sense of wonder, lights all around flashing, trees full of christmas balls, all colourful and vibrant.

We go to mass, communal ones celebrated and full of kinship and aidance, kids running vividly, playing and waiting for their presents. The food is wonderful and sweet, with a flavour of hope and ease. It tells you everything’s going to be all right. There’s family, sometimes there are friends and there’s always a party to be made!
