In this question, we are asked to write a paragraph describing a painting that we have seen and liked it.
"A picture is worth a thousand words," they say. I identified the one image in my head that can express more than a thousand words. I first noticed this image in the writing center, which is a component of State College, a few weeks ago. The stunning hues drew my attention. I became so mesmerized by the painting that I no longer knew who I was with. When I learned that we had to write an observation essay in which we had to describe anything or someone in the city that caught our attention. I immediately decided I wanted to write a piece about the painting. I don't know why, but I had the impression that the picture captured how I was feeling at the time.
I thought there were only two hues in the image at first glance—green and blue. As I drew nearer, throughout the entire artwork, there was grass. You can spot pink and red flowers sprouting among the grass if you look closely enough. The grass appeared to be withering because it had yellow blotches across it. The grass in the artwork also contained a region with a very vivid shade of green, which gave the grass an active appearance. The grass had a willowy texture that might have hinted at the presence of a breeze. There were ripples in the river that flowed southeast, adding to the impression of a breeze. The lake and river were both various shades of blue. The lake was a darker hue of light blue, with a dark blue border and a black inner rim. The grass growing underneath the lake could be seen thanks to what looked to be a light shining from either the top or the bottom of the body of water. The lake's colors surrounded the river, which was a softer shade of light blue with white lines to depict the waves. There was no light shining on the river, so you couldn't see any grass growing there. It was a mesmerizing painting that I have seen in my life.
