Factual description of a street vendor.

• A street vendor's job is not an easy-go job, as he or she is exposed to atrocities of life. It is pathetic to learn the efforts put in by a street vendor to eke out living for dependents in any form of weather condition.

• It is a welcoming initiative by the government to come to the rescue of wandering street vendors by implementing Hawking Zones, which are safe from external threats and provide good scope for income generation.

• A street vendor is daily wage earners and it carries immense value to have earned money regularly. It is thus, unwise to bargain with a street vendor on socio-economic grounds, as such bargaining reduces his or her income.
