An Unforgettable Picnic

Last Sunday was our family day, my father decided to have a picnic at a beach. All of us thought that this was a wonderful choice for our family to spend time together. Everyone agreed and quickly get ready for the trip.

We cooperated to prepare the things were needed for the picnic. My mother cooked some delicious food and prepared some juices while the four of us packed up some extra clothes in the bag. All of us felt very excited.

We put the things that already had been prepared into my father’s car. At about 9.00 o’clock in the morning, we left our house. On the way, we had a lot of fun. We sang, joked and chatted among ourselves. It was an exciting moment.

Suddenly, the car made some strange noises and broke down. Father stopped the car at the side of the road to see what went wrong with the car. While he was checking the car problem, my mother went out to hold an umbrella over my father so that he would not feel too hot. My elder brother and I tried to help him. Nevertheless, my other two younger brother and sister were sleeping in the car.

After about half an hour my father managed to repair the car. We gladly jumped into the car and continued out journey. Finally we reached out destination an hour later. There was already a big crowd at the beach. Without wasting any time, we quickly laid our things on the sand. We enjoyed ourselves and had a great time at the beach.

Finally at 5.00 p.m, we went back home. Although we were tired, we still feel happy and had fun. It was an unforgettable picnic in my life.
