Mother Teresa was an Indian Roman Catholic nun. She visited India when she was 19 years old with the mission of assisting the poorest of the impoverished. She decided to stay in India for her entire life after visiting here and observing the circumstances.  She founded Missionaries of Charity in 1950 to aid the impoverished, helpless and handicapped.
