RUSKIN BOND

RUSKIN BOND was born in 19 May 1934 in Kasauli , Punjab state agency, British India. His mother was Edith Clarke and father was Aubrey Alexander Bond. His schooling was completed in Bishop Cotton School and college in Shimla is b 1950.

He is professionally author and poet. His first novel was 'Room and Roofs' and his semi autobiographical work and has won Jhon Leweeliy Rhyn price 1957. He had won Padma Shri in 1999 and Padma Bhushan in 2014 for his work . His noteble work in 'Our tree still grow in Dehra'.
