The physio-graphic units show features that are unique in every region. it's, however, essential to complement each area as they complement each other well. The mountains, therefore, are the primary sources of natural resources like water and other forest wealth. The northern regions comprise of granaries of the country. The physiological divisions result in civilization with the plateaus of the storehouse minerals. Moreover, the different physical features of the land create more development possibilities.

  • India has a unique culture and great civilization. It has snow-capped Himalayan mountains in the north that stretches to the east of Arunachal Pradesh. The hills of the northeastern seven sisters state.
  • The sundry desert plains in the west and the fertile river valley plains of the Ganga that flow from the Gangotri glacier to the upper, middle and lower parts of the country emptying to the Bay of Bengal. The central part is comprised of the tablelands as Malva, in north and Deccan in the south, and Chota Nagpur plateau in the east.  
  • All forming a triangular landmass with western ghats and eastern ghats on both sides that are followed by the coromandel coasts on east and Malabar on the west.
  • Followed by the Andaman and the Nicobar island group in Bay of Bengal sea and the Lakshadweep island in the Arabian sea.
