  • Term cultural lag is used in sociological studies.
  • It is term used to denote a condition in which culture of any society has problems in accepting technological advances and changes which leads to several problems in society.
  • For example, practice of Surrogacy in India. Surrogacy is an example of technological advancement in which couples suffering from infertility or any other reproductive problems can have children through a surrogate mother.
