here is your Answer ⤵⤵ ⤵

Each tooth consists of a root, a crown and a neck. The root is buried in the jaw. The crown projects beyond the gum; the anatomical crown is that part which is covered by enamel and extends partly in the substance of the gum upto the cemento-enamel junction; the clinical crown projects in the oral beyond the gum.

The interior of the tooth contains a pulp cavity which extends from the crown to the apex of the root, where it communicates through the apical foramen. The pulp cavity is covered by three calcified tissues—dentine, enamel and cementum. Localised disintegration of one or more of the dental tissues is known as caries. The dental calculus or ‘tartar’ frequently observed on teeth is a layer of calcium salts derived from the saliva.
