Molecules are the tiny particles which makes matter. Living and non-living things, all are made of matter. We all have mass and occupy space.
The molecules are so tiny that cannot be seen with naked eyes. They can be seen only under a microscope. There are also states of matter :-
• Solid = Their molecules are very closely packed. They have fixed shape and volume. Their molecules have very strong force of attraction between them. They can't flow or free to move.
Rx : Book, cow, table, human, aeroplane etc.
• Liquid = Their molecules are not closely packed. They don't have fixed shape but have fixed volume. They change their shape into the shape of their container. They can flow and are free to move.
Ex : Cocacola, milk, mango juice, water etc.
• Gas = Their molecules are loosely packed. They don't have fixed volume and shape. The can occupy all the available space of the container in which they are kept. The can fly and move easily and freely.
Ex : Nitrogen, Oxygen, Carbon monoxide, Carbon dioxide, LPG gas etc.
