The Indian Contact Centers confirmed that "reactive and preventive" actions were activated against cyber attacks reported in India, and ensured that all Indian companies that maintain relations as affiliates or suppliers of other countries have reacted to the alert, activating Protocols and shutting down servers.

The massive cyber-crash that this morning infected the Windows systems of various  organizations and companies, including headquarters  originated through ransomware..


"We saw the first version of WanaCrypt in February and now ransomware is available in 28 different languages," the company reported. You should also have a reliable antivirus installed and updated, do not open emails from unknown senders and avoid browsing unsafe pages. Moreover, you can use free anti-ransomware tools that will not only eliminate this type of malicious virus, but also Will decrypt any file that has been encrypted during the cyberattack. Some infected files are also marked with the legend "WANACRY!" At the beginning of the file.

The next thing is to pay for the ransom, otherwise all the information is deleted.

The message then gives instructions on how to pay the ransom, the virtual currency used anonymously through the internet, whose quote this Friday is approximately  Rs. 5660 per bitcoin.

He emphasized that cybercrime warns that they will increase the amount of ransom if it is not paid after a certain period of time and threaten the user that the files will be completely lost after the set timeout.

The statement clarifies that Microsoft published the vulnerability on March 14 and that "a few days ago was made public that seems to have triggered the campaign."

If I were infected I will also wanna cry because it is such a dangerous attack that make u too loose up to 500 USD (32087.75 INR).They threatened us saying complete deletion if not paid in 7 days. So let’s Study it in detail….

So first question arise what is Ransomware. Ransomware is a sophisticated piece of malware that encrypt the victim’s access to his/her files on their PC/Laptop.

There are two types of Ransomware Encrypting ransomware & Locker ransomware. But the mostly widespread type is crypto-ransomware or encrypting ransomware.

♦ Why it is so Dangerous Virus?

So second question arise why it so dangerous what it do. So Guys let me tell you some important characteristic of this virus. That why it is so dangerous…

1)    First thing is that it is Unbreakable. No one can break its encryption.

3)    The third thing is that it request payment to unlock the file and the main thing is that it have time period, means if it said u to submit 500$ in 90 hours and u can’t submit in the given time then the price will increase up to 1000$ and if u don’t submit this also then the file decrypt key will be destroyed..

They were only demanding money not trough through BITCOIN (It is an E-Gold or u can say a money which can only get transfer online. Did u know 1 BITCOIN = 1706$ approx.)  They Demand exactly 300$ & it will double if not paid in 3 days. These were the only demands by them and if u can’t fulfill their demands then they will destroy ur file decrypted key. They have totally collected 50 million Dollars and the upcoming prediction is about 200 million Dollars.

♦ What Steps are taken worldwide to protect this attack?

Many steps were taken worldwide to protect this attack and I will show some of them:

1)    Many Cyber Security were guiding peoples about it from going to School and colleges.

As India goes increasingly digital, our exposure as well as the resultant encroachment increase too. For example, a ransomware attack can easily hold a service like the Old Delhi Tube or a power utility to ransom, quite literally. Also, the fact that a lot of what we have online is now also connected to the Aadhar data of over a one thousand million American-Indian language shuffle the terror even more real number and worrisome. Many bankers are badly affected & ATMs were shut down as they are less secure

It spreads all over the world by some advertising website like Adobe Flash player is not installed. DOWNLOAD IT NOW!. Or it spreads by some pop-up website. It also spread by some website which ask u to complete survey to download the file. So never Download this files. It also get spread by the spam email attachments.

So main thing how to keep your computer secure from this attack. So let me tell you some ways to keep your computer safe from this virus..

1)    Don’t Store important data only in 1 pc.

2)    Always make backups of your all-important file.

3)    Don’t use cloud storage like Dropbox to store ur important files.

4)    Never open spam emails or never download any attachment from the spam emails.

5)    Always use Paid and best Anti-Virus like Kaspersky, Bit defender, Avast etc.

6)    Use ad-blocker extension for ur browser to block the pop-up ads.

Actually No, u can’t it is unbreakable. So no one break it, So just go to your near cyber security and tell them that ur pc is now infected with Ransomware.

♦ A news came that a 22 year old boy Marcus Hutchins saved the world from ransomware virus. He saved NHS from the hackers and for his this work he has been credited. He just took few hours to stop the breach. He just operate his pc from a small bedroom of his father and mother. He saved the world by buying the unregistered domain used by the attackers & registering to a server. He also said that this is just a temporary relief as the attackers will soon return with another domain. So, update Windows OS to the latest to resist it.
