Explanation:

Man: You are Police Inspector, I suppose.

Inspector: Yes, I am. What brings you here?

How can I help you?

M: A burglar got in through the window last night.

I: What happened then?

M: He asked for key at the point of revolver.

I daren't refuse. He broke open the safe and made off with all the valuables.

I: Could you please write down the details in the F.I.R.?

M: Yes, I will.

Since it is a puzzling crime, this case may be referred (entrusted) to some detective.

The police dogs, too might help in the detection of crime.

I: All right. I', taking up the investigation immediately.

Let me see what I can do in the matter.

M: Thank you very much.

I: Thanks. Don't

Owner: Aaaaaaahh! A thief! Stop right there! I'm calling the police!

Thief: Madam, please don't call the police. All I wanted was some food.

Owner: Food? Why would you want to steal food?

Thief: I lost my job at the construction site last week. I was not able to earn anything. My children are starving.

Owner: Wait here. I'll be right back.

Thief: Madam, please don't call the police

--------------------- Owner leaves and returns with a big casserole ------------------

Thief: What's this madam?

Owner: This is some food for you and your children.

Thief (with tears in his eyes): No one has been so kind to me. How can I ever repay you?

Owner: There is no need for that. Also, there is a clerical job vacant in my company. Do you need it?

Thief: Any job would do! I also went to school, so I'll no problem at all! Thank you so much!

Owner: Just remember - if you ever want to repay me, just be kind to everyone else.

Hope it helps! Have a good day! Please mark as brainliest answer! :D
