Sonal : did you see the news headline?
Priyanka: too busy these days . Exams are there! I did not get time to switch on the TV nor i could read the newspapers
Sonal : yes! I am sure you are ready
Priyanka : yes . But i haven' t still achieved confidence . I could not read my favourite newspaper.
Sonal : newspapers are good source of knowledge and current affairs . To discover a new talent in us!
Priyanka : really , i agree
Sonal : Have you completed with History and civics this time ?
Priyanka : of course i am ready!
Sonal : The democracy and currency chapter?
Priyanka: need little bit determination in that . Can you tell me about the currency of India ?
Sonal . Alright . India ' s currency are called as rupees . We have 10 rupee , 20 rupee , 50 rupee , 100 rupee , 500 rupee and1000 rupee notes . We have coins too which are metallic like 1 rupee , 2 rupee , 3 rupee , 5 rupee and 10 rupee coin .
Priyanka : Well , great !
Sonal : well you hadnot read the newspaper . Right?
Priyanka : yes . But if i had time i definitely would .
Sonal: we had a change in currency .
Priyanka: what?
Sonal : yes , 500 rupee and 1000 rupee are banned.
Priyanka : is it ? I heard my father talking about it and i didn't understand properly. He was talking about notes and black money
Sonal : yes he has to deposit the old notes in bank and get the current 2000 and 500 rupee notes and some new coins are also introduced.
Priyanka : why?
Sonal : just to figure out the number of black money circulating our country .
Priyanka : it comes a shock to me! I will soon check the newspaper when i reach home .
