Write a dialogue between two strangers waiting for their turn to consult a doctor at a clinic. ( Approx 1 page)

Answer 1

Harish: "Hello, is it the first time you are coming to this doctor? I haven't seen you here before."

Mohan: "Yes, I used to go to another doctor earlier."

Harish: "What is your ailment?"

Mohan: "I have been suffering from chronic stomach ache. I have visited many doctors and undergone several medical tests but no one is able to diagnose correctly."

Harish: "O, what a coincidence! I also came here ten years ago with the same ailment."

Mohan: "Really?"

Harish: "I used to get severe pain in the stomach whenever I ate food. Someone recommended this doctor to me. He diagnosed the problem correctly. He gave me some pills which I took for a week. After that I did not suffer due to stomach pain anymore."

Mohan: "Is it true?"

Harish: "Yes. This doctor is highly qualified. He has a MD degree and has specialized in different areas."

Mohan: "I hope he can solve my problem too."

Harish: "Now that you have come to the right person you can rest assured that you will get well soon."

Scene: Doctor's waiting room

Stranger 1: Excuse me, can you tell the time please?
Stranger 2: Yes sure, it's half past 8

Stranger 1: Thank you... Ive been waiting for over 30 mins, but I think the doctor is busy
Strange 2: Yes, he is a very busy doctor.. is this the first time you are seeing him?

Stranger 1: Yes, I have a slight problem in my back and I wanted to get it checked, at 71 years of age, I am not in the best shape
Strange 2: I understand, I have been coming to see him since the last 5 years and he really is one of the best in the business

Stranger 1: Why? you look so healthy and young, what happened to you?
Stranger 2: I had a knee injury while playing basket ball at college. I needed a knee replacement surgery and he was really helpful. I just come for regular check-up every now and then

Stranger 1: Oh, that's good..
Stranger 2: Hey, I think it's your turn for the appoinment

Stranger 1: Oh yes it is, thank you so much for your time!
Stranger 2: No problem.. best of luck!
