Cousin: Suresh, you are again late today! Why don’t you manage your time well?

I: I am sorry, could you please guide me how to manage my time well?

Cousin: Suresh, you will have to be more responsible. You get late because you don’t treat time as the most precious thing. You must not forget that time is everything.

I: It is true. I keep postponing things; for example early in the morning, I keep saying to myself: ‘I have plenty time, let me sleep a little more.’ And when I get up, I find myself terribly late. Then I rush through everything and get late for almost everything.

Cousin: Suresh, if you really want to be successful you will have to treat time very respectfully. You must plan your routine activities well before you execute them. For example you must get up at 6 a.m. if your school starts at 8 a.m. Similarly, you must plan other activities.

I: But, I don’t feel like leaving the bed. I forget everything, including the consequences of being late. What should I do?

Cousin: Suresh, you will have to overcome it yourself. What will you choose? Temporary pleasure for now or working for permanent joy? If you really want to secure the latter.

I: I promise you I will be responsible in future. I will never ever get late for anything.
