A dialogue of minimum three meaningful exchanges on ‘Family.’
Seema: Hi Riya, can we go to the movie this weekend?
Riya: No Seema, I have to go to the family get together.
Seema: Family get together is very boring. Why do you want to go?
Riya: No, My family is a joint family and we don't see everyone every day. So on weekends, we plan for a family get together. The adults sit and chat, the youths spend their time playing sports and the children play games.
Seema: Really? What else do you do?
Riya: I love to see my cousins, uncles, and aunties and it will really be fun when all family members have our dinner together. We share a lot of our experiences.
Seema: Why do you plan this way? Do you not miss watching television?
Riya: This way we learn to respect our elders and to nurture the bond of family relationships. It also a good diversion to television and phones.
Seema: It is very nice. I am too going to plan a family get together this weekend. Bye!
Riya: All the best. Bye!
Hope this helps.
Friend A: Hey, how are you? Where have you been all these days?
Friend B: I was on family vacation; all of us had gone to south India.
Friend A: Wow! That’s great. How was the vacation?
Friend B: It was super. We enjoyed ourselves to the fullest.
Friend A: I also enjoy a lot when as a family we travel to some distant place. Why is it so?
Friend B: We enjoy with our family because they are the ones who live us the most. They arrange everything for us. They are protective about us.
Friend A: It is true; we can’t get the same love, protection, and care from anyone else.
Friend B: That’s why we should value our family; and never ever disappoint any family member with our recklessness.
Friend A: I agree with you.
