A dialogue about ‘Let your smile be your umbrella’
Suman: Hi Ravina. Why are you looking so sad?
Ravina: Hi. I am going through a very bad phase of life.
Suman: What’s the matter?
Ravina: Well, my father has lost a lot of money in his business so we can no longer afford a car. I have to walk all the way to school. Instead of a nice lunch and money to buy snacks at the canteen I have to a chapatti with pickle. How can I stay happy tell me?
Suman: Ravina don’t be upset. Life is a big exam. A soldier never quits till his death at the same time he does not look depressed. He stands always as a source of inspiration and confidence.
Ravina: What does that have to do with me?
Suman: Don’t you understand? Your problems are your personal secrets. Why show them to the world. Always smile. Let your smile be your umbrella. Let it shade your sorrows and not expose them to the world.
