Today, we celebrated Hindi Diwas at our school, It was so fun!
Students were oriented about the importance of the Hindi language and how celebrating the day helps in sustaining traditional values and glorifying them to reinforce the glorifying them to reinforce the languages' importance. The students were also told that English is equally important and that it should be used in such a way that both the languages - Hindi and English complement each other.
The audience of students and teachers was entertained by students of class VII and class VIII through a street play highlighting the significance of Hindi language.
We are required to write a diary entry about the Hindi Diwas that I celebrated in our school. The Hindi Diwas that I celebrated in school will be as under:

Today we celebrated Hindi Diwas in our school. This day is celebrated on 14th September 2022 every year. The celebrations of this day started after India got independence. When I asked about the importance of this day I learned that Hindi was adopted as the national language of our country by the Indian constitution on 14.09.49, hence the importance of the date.
We all were asked to dress up in our formal attires and asked to put up skits or dramas or even speeches in Hindi. We all had great fun doing this. Even our teachers participated so it was a huge success and a very entertaining event. Looking forward to this day next year also.
