प्रस्तावना:
मेरा स्कूल 14 मई को ग्रीष्मावकाश के लिए बन्द हो गया । मैंने पहले से घर जाने का कार्यक्रम बना रखा था । अत: स्कूल बन्द होते ही मैंने अपना सामान बाँधा और सहारनपुर के लिए पहली गाड़ी पकड़ ली ।
शाम को मैं अपने घर पहुच गया । कई महीनों के बाद मुझे देखकर मेरी माँ बड़ी प्रसन्न हुई और उसने मुझे छाती से लगा लिया । अपने भाई-बहनों से मिलकर मैं भी बहुत खुश था ।
मित्रों के साथ:
अगले दिन मेरे मित्र मुझसे मिलने आने लगे । मै भी बड़ी गर्मजोशी से उनसे मिला । शाम को मैं अपने कुछ मित्रों के साथ घूमने निकल पड़ा । मार्ग में बहुत-से पुराने परिचित मिले । मुझे स्कूल में छुट्टियों के दौरान कुछ पढ़ाई-लिखाई का काम दिया गया था ।
सुबह मैं वह काम पूरा करता । इस तरह मित्रों से मिलते-जुलते और स्कूल का काम करने में मुझे दो सप्ताह लग गए । अब केवल पढाई दुहराने का काम बच गया था । घर आए पन्द्रह दिन गुजर गए और पता ही नहीं लगा । पन्द्रहवे दिन मेरे बड़े भाई का पत्र मिला । वे आगरा में रहते थे ।

Dear Diary,
Today is the last day of this year, i.e., 2018. It was the most important year of my life. It's just because of some events. This year, I have achieved a lot of things. Now, coming to my plan, that what will I do in the coming year.
In the coming year, I want to improve some of my mistakes which I did in the previous year. First of all, I'll try to give more time to my studies, as next year I have to give board.
The next one is my habit, to go late on bed. I'll go early to bed and same as woke up early in morning. There is a famous line said by Franklin, "Early to bed, Early to rise, makes a person healthy, wealthy and wise", I will surely follow this.
And finally, I'll avoid killing my time on games, fun, etc. I'll concentrate on my studies. Now, I'm going to bed.
