Thursday

It was my first night alone at home after my parents had left for Bangalore for some urgent work. I had to stay back due to my exams and it was a big challenge for me to manage the house all alone.

I thought of enjoying this first day of freedom and hence decided not to study for the night. I made some coffee for myself and then sat down with a story book. It started raining and the feeling was heavenly.

Suddenly something struck me. I decided to experience the monsoon this time and relish it. I went to the terrace and got myself drenched in rain, accompanied by a song I danced my heart out. It was certainly the best feeling in the world.

It was already midnight and thought of enjoying the entire night watching a movie. Being free and enjoying some quality time with yourself is pure bliss.
