Diary entry of a day spent at grandparent's home for a get-together

Dear Diary,
It has been a tiring day. I spent the entire day at my grandparent's house for a family get-together arranged after ages. It was tiring as I had to manage two of my little cousins. It was a great time spent with everyone after a really long time.
After a long time, my uncle had returned to India. Also, it was the occasion of the 45th marriage anniversary of my grandparents. We took this opportunity to arrange a get-together. It was almost 10 years that we haven't seen each other. Memories got rekindled, our joys knew no bounds and it all began right from the morning.
In the evening, we arranged for some cake cutting ceremony followed by some innovative games. We were 20 in number and we made the best of this opportunity. In the end, we had to depart and it felt like a heart ache. Nevertheless, good things end well and we hoped to meet again soon.
