Dear Dairy,
It is not long since I invaded your pages but there have been a tremendous surge of problems that occurred in our village.
My village does not have a healthy lifestyle. People here are poor farmers and labourers. They do not know how to keep themselves and their family hygienic and healthy. If they had enough education in their childhood, they would definitely adhere to the healthy lifestyle. But since, they are farmers and labourers most of them keep working in dirty surroundings.
And that lead to massive outbreak of an unknown disease in our village. It got almost impossible to save the dying neighbours. We were so traumatized of the plague that every night went in silence. Nobody stirred or nobody speak. It was as a thick, heavy cloud of premonition that hung above our heads.
I was struggling with the sight of people dying and I could not help. The doctors too could not save those sho were already deteriorating. So, I made a plan. With a bunch of friends and neighbours, I went to Kolkata city and looked for some great doctors who were interested in helping out. We were ready to face the plague monster and wipe its root completely off.
We met ten doctors who willed to come with us and treat us free of cost. It was like God himself has blessed us in the disguise of the doctors. Then after a month of continuous treatment and precautions, we, the villager defeated the plague.
At this time, we already lost fifty innocent people. Their families are almost destroyed. I myself lost my own little sister. She could not defeat it. And I cannot defeat the the sorrow.
It was a battle for me as well as for the doctors and the villagers. But it was worth the time and struggle.
