Dear diary
I am in a state of utter terror and pain. All the same, I thought I'll tell you the reason for that. Today it was reported in the news paper that in Pakistan, terrorists got into a school and started to shoot at the children. It is reported that more than hundred children are dead and a lot of them are injured. Some of these injuries are said to be fatal.
What I cannot understand is what these people hope to achieve by this. If they want to impress upon the world that they are all-powerful, how does an act of killing innocent defenseless children prove it. On the contrary, it proves that they are cowards.Today I included a prayer for the departed souls in my evening prayer.

Dear Diary

I am feeling very sad today. Innocent school children were massacred by the terrorists in a town. The children would have been my age. Their parents must be heart broken. They have been killed for no mistake of their own. They are the innocent victims by killing whom the terrorists want to get their demands fulfilled.

It is a sad plight to see that man has lost all value for life. Children are considered to be the embodiments of God. They bring joy and happiness in the lives of people. To make them a target of terrorism is a crime.

How I wish kindness and compassion could be aroused in the hearts of the terrorists and they would stop doing such heartless things.
