Dear Diary,
It has been a tiring day. Today I cleaned the entire house as per the latest responsibilities allotted to me. I realised that my mother has been doing a lot of work and wanted to give her a break by sharing her responsibilities. At first, she was reluctant to let me do any work but later she agreed.
I have taken up the responsibility of cleaning the house once a week. Today was my first day at household work. I started my day with some pujas and then after completing my work, proceeded to help my mother. She guided me as to how things should be done. After cleaning for almost half an hour, my back started paining. I realised what my mother had gone through all these years.
Gradually I took up all the work and completed them on time. It was a tiring one but also felt relaxed as I could help my mother and give her some rest. I hope to continue with it every time and feel every son or daughter should help their parents and save them from being overburdened.
