My Dear Diary

Today I woke up at 5:00 a.m. got ready for my school. My mother packed my tiffin.I carried all my stuff in my school bag and went to the school. At school everything was going well but after maths period I was very satisfied.Today in maths period our teacher distributed marks of surprise test which she took last monday.

More than half of the class failed as no one was prepared for it but I got the second highest marks.I was happy and satisfied both as without preparation I was able pass the test.Although not with flying colors still I managed to score fifty percent.

After reaching home from the school I told my mother about the result of surprise test.I thought she'll be happy to listen but her reaction was totally opposite.I didn't expected that. She started scolding me for not paying enough attention to my studies.I told her that it was a surprise test no one was prepared for it atleast I was able to pass the test.Infact the maths teacher also praised me but my mother was not at all happy with this result.

She started blaming me for using social media, which according to her is a distraction and is creating hinderance in my studies. I told her that I use social media for a specific period only and I am also concerned about my studies but she didn't want to listen anything.I was very upset with this behaviours of her.I expected some motivational words from her side.Today it was not my fault. I did my best and I am willing to improve. But she doesn't want to see that.

Later on when my father returned from home and my mother told him about the result he was happy to listen that I passed. He told my mother that marks are not important.Thing which is important is that despite it was a surprise test still I managed to pass it, which shows I am attentive in class.

At last I was happy that my father understood my feelings.Although my mother is also not wrong she is just a lil bit overconcerned about me. I hope in next test I get the marks which makes her happy. Good Night.

Dear Diary,

At 7:00 a.m. today, I got ready and left for school. My mother prepared my lunch. I went to school with my bag full of belongings. Everything was going well at school, but after English class, I felt very satisfied. Today during English class, our teacher gave out the results of the surprise test she took on Monday.

Since nobody was prepared, more than half of the class failed, but I received the second-highest grade.  I was pleased and relieved that I could pass the test without any prior study. Despite not passing with flying colors, I still managed to get a 50%.

I informed my mother about the surprise test results once I got home from school. I had assumed she would be pleased to hear what I had to say, but that was not the case. I wasn't preparing for that. She began berating me for failing to give my studies enough attention. I told her that the test was unexpected and that nobody had anticipated it, but at least I had been successful in passing it. In fact, my math teacher praised me as well, but my mother was not at all pleased with the outcome.

She began blaming me for using social media, which she claimed was a distraction and impeding my academic progress. I tried to explain to her that I only use social media during certain times and that I'm also worried about my academic performance, but she was uninterested in hearing me out. I was extremely upset by her actions. I anticipated that she would say something encouraging. It was not my fault today. I gave it my best effort, and I want to get better. She, however, does not wish to see that.

When my mother informed my father about the outcome after he had returned from work, he was pleased to hear that I had succeeded. He said to my mother that grades don't matter. The important thing is that I passed the test even though it was a surprise, proving that I pay attention in class.

Finally, I was content.
