Wednesday, 15th January, 10p.m
Dear Diary,
Thank God you are not a human being. Humans are so cruel and heartless.
After losing both my parents I have no one to call my own except an estranged Uncle.
This Uncle was never in good terms with my father but my father and he were the joint heirs to our ancestral property. So I had to visit him and get his signature to claim my share.
You know I am penniless and too young to work so I had to visit him come what may.
He lives in a desolate place by the sea side. When I met him he was certainly not very pleased to see me.
The weather was hazardous. Thunder and lightening were threatening to tear the half constructed house apart.
My uncle suddenly asked me to go up the terrace and see if the door was properly shut. Giving me no lamp I had to fumble up the crooked stairs. I was about to step on what I thought was the terrace floor when a streak of lightening flashed across.
To my utter horror I found that there was no floor I was about to crash right down into the rough see .
It was then I realized he wanted to kill me. I immediately slipped down and ran for dear life. I realized my uncle had attempted to kill me.
That is why I am sharing my anguish with you. Will keep you updated.
