Dear Diary:

Today I had lots of fun at school! We celebrated Teachers Day with zeal and zest. There was an unusual excitement in the school atmosphere which was quite contagious. The students of classes XI & XII took over the duties of the teachers for the day. A special morning assembly was held in which the students paid homage to their teachers through poems and speeches. There was a special celebration organized by school management for teachers, which included games with many prizes followed by a grand lunch. Students gave cards and chocolate to their favourite teachers. I also gave a card and chocolate to my favourite teacher. Teachers make our life wonderful.
