mother died yesterday evening

Dear Diary,

Today was a really hard day. One of my closest friends mother passed away. She was fighting cancer for 5 years and her battle ended yesterday.  She used to make the best garlic bread and pasta. She used to love having friends over. I hope he is well and fine and recovers from his bad memories of his death. The funeral is tomorrow and would not like to see her in a frozen state. I really loved her and adored her. R.I.P aunty.
