Well as I have lived in Canada for my studies I can give you basic outlines on which you can think and write how you feel, your self.

1. First give your diary a name! And address it first while writing.
eg. I named my diary Vendetta so I address it as Hey Vendetta (you can choose yours)

2. Mention the date on the right upside corner.

a. Start with how you feel away from your homeland, first.

b. Then start writing about your classroom and extracurricular activities. (Find similarities in them with India's class and extracurricular system.)

c. Write about your days or a particular day in which you were outside and found something like rule and regulation regarding, behaviour or religious or general phenomenon that you can relate to.

d. Now you can say that all the above activities are the policies of the UAE government so you don't feel as much alienated as you had thought.

e. Do some research regarding the government policies of UAE regarding the foreign immigrants on the internet, you will find some very good answers there.

f. Don't forget to conclude how good and enough homely you feel in the UAE.
