Dear diary:
Today I am very happy. My desire to keep a pet was fulfilled, as if by God. This is what happened.
As I woke up in the morning, I noticed whining of a pup near our gate. As the whining continued, I went out to see what the problem was. I opened the gate I found a very cute white pup in the flower bed along our front wall. It appeared to be a little injured. I picked it up and brought it inside. First, I gave it some water; then I gave it some milk to drink. My parents wanted me to keep it outside again after sometime. But I had another plan in my mind. I wanted to keep it as a pet. Initially they did not approve of it. However, as I insisted, they agreed. I assured them I would look after all its needs myself, without bothering any family member. I took it to the vet, who examined it and declared the pet was healthy. I bought a beautiful kennel, a dog collar, a leash, and some other things for it from the vet. I am very happy now. The pet is feeling at home and everyone is excited about it.
