The Indigo movement as Deenbandhu was actually a peasant movement and subsequent action enrolled by the Indigo farmers. It is against the Indigo planters that arose in Bengal in 1859 and planters persuaded to the peasants to organize with instead of food crops. They provide loans, and conclude at very high interest.
