Dear Diary,
I am so happy today. I don't know where to start.
It was really an exciting and busy day for me or rather I should say for the whole family. My summer vacation started a week ago and as usual the holiday homework has been given in the tons. I was so sad at the start of my vacation because of the homework load and no one planned for any trip. But I think they really wanted to surprise me because yesterday they told me that "We are going for a one day trip to Amritsar, Punjab". When I heard the news, eventually I lost control of my happiness and started dancing on the sofa. I don't even sleep because of the excitement. We arrived at Amritsar at 9.00 Am in the morning by the road. The weather was really good and we saw beautiful views during our journey to Amritsar. It really forced me to believe in the magic of nature. We visited Golden Temple in the morning itself and then took the "Prasad" which was delicious. I wanted to take more but I had to control myself. Then in the afternoon we visited jallianwala bagh and came to know about the harsh truth of our history. In the evening we all did dinner at a 5-star hotel and reached home around 11.30 PM. It was the most interesting day of my vacation which I spent with my whole family. We enjoyed it a lot. I have captured so many memories of this day in my camera .
