Dear Diary,
In this summer vacation my whole family wanted to go to the hill station to spend the holidays. But I wanted to visit my grandmother's place. I like her very much. I always wanted to live with her. I spent my holidays with her in my village this year. Early morning she used to wake me up and give me breakfast. She told me many stories about her childhood days and my father's childhood days. These were very interesting to listen. She also sang many songs for me. She told that when I was born I looked at a little monkey. We both laughed at this. She cooked different types of food for me. We both talked every time and enjoyed a lot. I met with her friends who also loved me very much. Now it was the time to return. We both cried a lot and promised to talk over the phone. I love my grandmother very much and I miss her too.

We always have less time as students to experience new things outside of a demanding school schedule. I made use of my summer break this year to develop a keen interest in new topics. Because only during the summer months do we all have a great opportunity to adopt some mind-refreshing routines that suit our personalities and tendencies, such as painting, singing, gardening, and dancing.
So, during the summer break this year, I began to develop the habit of gardening. And it was a truly great idea that did a remarkable job of reviving my mind and spirit. In addition, I went to our village house to experience the true essence of the outdoors.
With the help of outdoor play, I was joined by all of my cousins as we explored joy and excitement in the midst of nature. Along with learning about great literature from my cousins, I gathered some books and inspired an unbridled desire for reading in my creative mind. I prioritized taking care of my health by exercising frequently.
