Dear Diary,
Today, I'm going to the zoo! I'm absolutely elated! At first, I didn't know that I would be going to the zoo, until my parents surprised me. My parents had told me that they had something special in mind for today (which, at the time I was unaware of). After, they handed me zoo admission slips, which made me really happy! I hadn't been to the zoo in a long time, so it was really exciting for me. So after we arrived there, I noticed that the line to get in was quite long. But luckily, my parents had booked earlier, so we practically skipped the whole line! Once inside, I realized that they had added more animals, which was great! I saw a whole bunch of different animals, some which I had seen before, and some which I haven't. Overall, it was a very fun experience! I hope that I could go back one day.

I visited the zoo after a very long time. Maybe the last time I visited the zoo was when I was in grade 5. I went to the zoo with my parents. I loved looking at the birds. There were several of them some in cages while others in small sanctuary type spaces. They were all colourful. I loved looking at exotic animals like lemurs and pandas. Giant cats in an enclosure were fierce. They were really big than I thought. Monkeys were swinging around curiously watching at the onlookers. One monkey kept staring at me which made me really uncomfortable. The fishes were all swimming around and it was very beautiful in glass cages. The hippos and snakes were the scariest. Snakes made me uneasy though.
After watching all the animals, we left the zoo. It was a nice experience.
