Dear Diary,
Due to Corona Pandemic, I did not went anywhere during my summer vacations. During these holidays, keeping grim situation being faced by poor needy families, we the residents of Royal society made monetary contribution (collectively) to arrange ration and other food items. In association with local representative and NGOs the vital food items / ration (rice, wheat flour, vegetable oil, pulses, salts etc) was procured, packed and distributed to these needy families residing in Shimla. Also, keeping in mind the fact that there are several kids in these families who might not get proper nutrition required for their proper development, decent amount of milk, fruits and rusk packets to these needy families having children less than 5 years of age and/or families having expecting mothers, is being provided on daily basis. Further, at individual, I have made contribution to PM-CARES Fund. During this period, CPRI also distributed sanitizers, gloves and masks to our corona worriers i.e Policemen/ Women and other security personnels in Shimla. I was continuously engaged in different welfare activities for needy families and Corona worriers. As of now, I and my team have distributed ration and other essential commodities to around 450 families in different areas of Shimla. From last week, we have started vegetables distribution among needy and poor families. I pledge to stand together with nation in this tough time.
